This absolutely beautiful country isn't called the Land of 365 Beaches for nothing!

Since the completion of the new V.C. Bird International Airport, which is currently the most modern airport in the Eastern Caribbean, plans by Antigua & Barbuda tourism officials to increase air-landings have taken off and now they're coming home to land.

The inaugural flight to Antigua was a 34 seat Saab 340 aircraft, which took off from its hub at the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday 13th December and landed safely in Antigua at 2:20 p.m.

The icing on this very delicious cake is the codeshare agreement between Seaborne Airlines and JetBlue that would allow passengers to travel from any JetBlue serviced area in the United States to Antigua with one-ticket, one check-in and the security of reliable baggage transfer and service.

As it becomes easier to access the hidden gems of the Caribbean, there are less reasons not to experience 'the Greatest Destination on Earth'
for yourself.

Though once very beautiful, their obvious place as masterpieces of a by-gone time notwithstanding, the structures have been allowed to fall into some decay. Many of the buildings lay abandoned and in need of serious re-modelling and renovating.

However, those that are still in constant use, such as Queen's Royal College and Archbishop's House, are in immaculate conditions and echo the lost luster of their neighbors.

We won't show you all seven architectural wonders and ruin the experience but,
to all you travellers who can appreciate the value of history,
you would not regret taking a minute to visit these blasts from the past and appreciate timeless artistry.
