St. Kitts still Battle Ready
It's one of St. Kitts' most popular attractions!
Brimstone Hill Fortress, which was built and intermittently developed from the 1690s to the 1790s, is a testament to the battle between the British and the French for rule over the island.
This battle fortress is a major historical landmark on many tours of St. Kitts and is a destination that does not disappoint. It boosts a picturesque view of the entire West coast of the island from it's northern most point down to the southern peninsula.
On a clear day, neighboring islands can be viewed in the distance.

Whether you're passing through on a cruise or staying in St. Kitts for awhile, taking an hour or so to explore the grounds and take the audio tour will be an experience you won't regret!
