Start your vacation with a relaxing trip across from St Kitts via water taxi. It is more expensive than the public ferry but the view and the convenience of landing right on the shores of Oualie Bay makes it well worth it.You'll find that the rooms and facilities are well-appointed and the atmosphere is quite casual and welcoming so it's very easy to settle in.
We'd like to give a special mention to Nakida, Deirdre Ann and Baron who took very good care of us during our visit. Though the entire staff must be credited for their friendliness and willingness to make your visit a good one. Within a few days, the whimsical charm of the resort actually begins to inspire dreams of living there permanently.
The resort advertises a deep commitment to eco-tourism practices and to the exploratory guest the evidence that they are dedicated to the cause is quite apparent with their clever recycling ideas, composting practices, energy use policies and smart use of solar energy. The owner, Mr. John Yearwood can occasionally be spotted around the property always with a warm smile to share and, on most Tuesday nights, a guitar in hand.
